What is AG BAG DRAG?

Welcome to the AG BAG DRAG official page.

Since 1951, the Agros have hosted Ag Bag Drag, an annual cabaret where live bands, dancing, and drinks can be had on the last weekend of October each year. Often throughout the month, you will hear people say "Ag Bag Drag, GOOSE!", alluding to the goose that is the animal mascot of the event. At the beginning of October, the Drag car is purchased through donations from first-year students and then the car is painted in Agro blue to celebrate the kick-off of the month. The car is meant to create bonds between the lower and upper years by stealing the car from each other, and if you are not careful, the engineers could take it out from under your nose!

It is also a tradition to shave your beard or legs on October 1st and refrain from shaving again until Drag is over. Friends gather for themed Ag Nights each Thursday of October leading up to Drag, with past theme examples being Western Night or Drag T-Shirt Night. The Drag T-Shirt is a limited edition shirt that is released every year, with the goose on the logo as well as a funny slogan that rhymes with the year. This is an event that has been around for a long time in the college that your parents, or even grandparents, likely have memories of attending back in the day! Join in on the fun with your friends at Ag Bag Drag *GOOSE*!
